Summer Kickoff Event — SAVE THE DATE!!
May-cember will be done, the sun will be out, and we’ll all be at the Glenville Pool!!
Join the neighborhood for our private pool reservation, breakfast tacos, and fruit care of North College Park Neighborhood Association. We want to kick summer off on the right foot and with a splash!
When: Saturday June 6th from 10am-12pm
Where: Glenville Pool, 500 S. Glenville Dr, Richardson, TX 75081
Why: Kickoff Summer with a Splash!
Food/Beverage: Breakfast tacos, Fruit, Kid juices, and water
What to bring: Swimsuits, grip shoes for the splash pad area for littles, towels, and a folding/camping char if you want as seating is limited.
Our Porch Crawl (previously in June) is moving to the Fall hoping that brings cooler temps as we move from house to house. Stay tuned for those details later in the year!
Neighborhood Eagle Scout Announcement
Congratulations to Elizabeth Bennett on the completion of the rank of Eagle Scout! On March 30th 2026 Elizabeth Bennett completed the rank of Eagle Scout. Elizabeth renovated an outdoor classroom at Nancy Cocheran Elementary. Thank you to Doug Freeman for his help and woodworking skills.
The name comes from the high desert — where wolves move with purpose under wide-open skies and the moon lights the way forward. That energy shapes everything Moon Wolf does: the coffee, the goods, the events, and the space itself.
Before the brick-and-mortar, there was the trailer. A converted mobile unit that brought specialty coffee to pop-ups, markets, and events across the DFW area.
The flagship location at 920 Custer Road in Richardson, TX is what Moon Wolf calls “The Den.” It’s a space built for quiet mornings, genuine conversation, and goods made by people who care. Exposed beams, raw concrete, vinyl on the turntable, and a deer mount keeping watch. The desert moved into suburbia and the pack showed up the first week. Good things don’t rush.
Inside The Den, the Provisions market carries artisanal mugs, t-shirts, bags, oils, and incenses. Goods curated by real people. And quarterly, the parking lot transforms for the Hair of the Wolf Symposium: musicians, photographers, barbers, a vintage flea market, and a magician. All in collaboration!

Monthly Engagement and Programs Update

Selections will be made by May 18th. The selection team is looking for curb appeal, trimmed shrubs and a recently mowed lawn, flowering plants of different types and heights, some focal points that catch the eye and overall symmetry.
If you would like to help and are not already on the team, please contact Robert Grinsfelder at Rmgrins@aol.com. It just takes one hour each month and a commitment for every month is not expected.
We also want to thank Bruce Miller Nursery for providing the gift cards awarded to the winner and runner-up each month from March through September. We provide special gift cards for October and our holiday selection in December.

Our next book club will be at April Anderson’s house on Morningstar Trl on June 27th from 1-3pm to discuss Mona’s Eyes by Thomas Schlesser. This is a LONG one selected by our book club, so we’re taking two months to read it. Hope to see you there!

We’re ready to welcome you to Crime Watch. Please email Sid Weatherford at sidford01@gmail.com to join! Our monthly dinner meetings are held the first Thursday of every month at Rocco’s Italian Grill at 6pm, this month is Thursday May 7th. Dinner and a visit with our Richardson Police Representative (when available). The next scheduled visit form our community liason will be at our June meeting on June 4th.
Please let Sid at sidford01@gmail.com know if you plan to attend by Wednesday evening so Rocco’s can estimate the proper amount of food for our group.
To participate in Crime Patrol, you can patrol as you feel led. One hour per month is the suggested service. Many patrollers use this time to walk with friends, their pets, or just enjoy time on their own knowing they’re doing their part to make the neighborhood safer.
