National Night Out is Tuesday, October 1st, 6-8 pm, Glenville Park

Join the fun and fellowship as we recognize our First Responders and enjoy burgers, chips and water provided to our members by the Credit Union of Texas (non-members will be asked for a $5 donation).

Wear Blue
and bring a chair or blanket as seating is limited. The Berkner Drumline will perform around 6:45 and we will give away several door prizes after that. We will also be collecting canned foods for Network!

We also have a Glo Night Party Pack to add to the fun as the sun sets! We are partnering with the Town North Neighborhood Association. See You There!

The city is providing trees at the event, to help replace those lost in the spring, on a first-served basis and here is the link for more information: www.cor.net/departments/parks-recreation…

Crime Patrol Meeting

It is much more than patrolling! Imagine a nice evening out with friends for a meal where your cell phone is put away, a nice Italian dinner is served, a nice bottle of wine is consumed and life’s stories are shared. That is what takes place at 6:00 PM on the first Thursday of every month at Rocco’s Italian Cafe next to Kroger.

For over fifteen years, our patrollers have taken time to share celebrations like birthdays, anniversaries, new babies, graduations, weddings and supported one another during difficult times and illnesses. We even get a chance to visit with our local Richardson Patrol officer and find out what is going on in our area and discover how we can help keep our neighborhood safe.

One thing we are missing is You!
Come join us on October 3rd at Rocco’s at 6:00PM.

House Number Project

The house number project is alive and well. Volunteers will make a sign at no charge for your back fence to comply with city regulations. These numbers make it easier for emergency services to find your residence. Contact Doug Freeman, d1004free@aol.com if you need a sign.

Be sure your house numbers are visible from the street. Many of the curb marking have faded away.

Fall Electronics Recycling & Paper Shredding

Note new location:

The Fall 2024 Recycling Event will be held on Saturday, October 19th. Location has changed and will be announced soon.

The RCPAAA works hard to keep this event free to the public, but it is also an expensive event to produce. You can help offset these expenses by donating to our Back The Blue fund to help us continue to support the men and women of the Richardson Police Department.

The Electronics Recycling and Paper Shredding Event begins at 10:00 am and closes at 2:00 pm.

We accept all types of electronics except old tube-type TVs and bulky CRT computer monitors. Our paper shredding is intended to help protect you against Identity Theft. Please do not bring general paper items such as magazines and newspapers.

Please remove the paper from 3 ring binders before arriving at the site. Paper clips and staples are fine.

Limited to no more than five (5) boxes. We will ask for a minimum donation of $5/box above this limit.

While this is a free event, it is a fundraiser to help us support the Richardson Police Department. Donations will be solicited.
