Hey, I’m Dr. Demetris Elia! Most people call me Dr. D. I’m the founder of PEAKiropractic and originally from Cyprus. But I made my way to Dallas to earn my Doctor of Chiropractic from Parker University. I’ve been serving the awesome folks of Richardson for the past 5 years, with regular stops at places like Train 4 Tomorrow gym and Toyota of Richardson. I’m all about finding the root cause, not just chasing symptoms—and yes, I make house (and gym and office) calls!
Skip the traffic, not the care. I’ll come to you—let’s get started!
Share with us if you get your body back on track with Dr. D!
Every month we feature a Richardson small business in our Small Business Spotlight! If you own a small business or have a special connection to one in Richardson, let us know—we love celebrating the incredible entrepreneurs in our community. You can email April at info@mindsetmarvel.com for more information on the spotlight feature.

Not too early to think about National Night Out.
National Night Out celebration is coordinated locally by the Richardson Police Department. Community Relations Unit, held annually on the first Tuesday in October. In 2024, Richardson won first place in the nation. The City of Richardson competes in Category 2 (cities with pop. 100,000 – 299,000) for 1st place in the nation to highlight the great Police and community partnership in the fight against crime. Registration for National Night Out 2025 in October, starts in August of 2025.
About National Night Out:
National Night Out, a year-long community building campaign, is designed to:
- Heighten crime prevention awareness
- Generate support for, and participation in, local anti-crime programs
- Strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships
- Send a message to criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.
Along with the traditional outside lights and front porch vigils, most cities and towns celebrate National Night Out with a variety of special citywide and neighborhood events such as block parties, cookouts, parades, festivals, visits from local officials and law enforcement, safety fairs, and youth events.
Pre-NNO Events:
- NNO Kickoff – Neighborhood Crime Watch Leadership Event Video (TBA 2025)
- “Can Do” Food Drive – Canned food drive that will help fill the food pantry at Network of Community Ministries. (Event Date: TBA, 2025). The Richardson Police Department is asking residents to bring canned food donations to NNO block parties.
- Public Safety Expo – Location: Huffhines Park – 300 N. Plano Rd. (near Huffhines Children Park) Join the Richardson Police Department for a free and fun family event. There will be police and fire department vehicles on display along with demonstrations from our K9 Unit and UAS (drone) Team. Visit with SWAT Team members and Bike Unit officers. Get an up-close view of a helicopter. Vendors and City services will provide information about safety and emergency preparedness. Meet Chase from Paw Patrol, Nat the National Night Out Knight, McGruff the Crime Dog and much more. Refreshments will be available for purchase
We are ready to welcome you to Crime Watch. Please email Doug Freeman at d1004free@aol.com to join!
>>> House Number Project
We have an incredibly special house number project in NCPNPA. Volunteers will create a handmade wooden sign for your back fence to comply with city regulations. This service is FREE to members.
