National Night Out

Mark Your Calendars for Tuesday, October 3rd for NNO!

On Tuesday, October 3rd, we will gather at Glenville Park for National Night Out from 6-8 pm! We will be joined by the College Park and Town North neighborhoods. Plans include a food truck and the Berkner Drum Line.

There will be visits from our Richardson First Responders, city officials and special guest Chase from Paw Patrol! Everyone is also being asked to support Network by bringing needed items.

The City of Richardson competes in Category 2 (cities with pop. 100,000 – 299,000) for 1st place in the nation to highlight the great Police and community partnership in the fight against crime.

Celebrate The USA, Saturday, July 1st!

Note change to parade route from prior years.

Glenville Park, 10:30 am to 12:30 pm.

We will have a walking parade for bikes, wagons, pets and anyone wanting to join. Parade participants will gather in the south parking lot of Jess Harben Elementary School at 10:15 and the parade will start at 10:30. Prizes will be awarded to the best decorated bike, wagon or skateboard, the best adult costume, best child costume and the most patriotic pet costume!

We will all gather at the Pavilion (where the parade concludes) and enjoy snacks, lemonade, tea and water. From 11:30 am to 12:30 pm everyone can purchase ice cream from the Tongue and Cheek truck! We will also have games including a water balloon toss, a flag hunt and more and kids will be divided by age.

Summer Kick-Off Party June 10th On East Morningstar

Bring your chairs or blankets and your favorite drink and join the party on Saturday, June 10th from 4-7 pm. We will gather on East Morningstar and have a bounce house, games, beer and food! Bring the family and help kick- off the summer in North College Park! Thanks to our neighbors on East Morningstar for sharing their yards and helping us host this event! We will share more details on our Facebook page and with a special newsletter the week prior to the event. Mark your calendars now and join the fun!

Spring Celebration a Big Success

The weather was perfect and we had a great turnout for this event. Lots of candy filled eggs, games, food and fun. Thanks to everyone who came out and participated and thanks to the volunteers who worked hard to pull it all together. It was great working with the College Park and Town North Park team. Spring Celebration To Be Held April 1st

Bring the family to the annual Spring Celebration on April 1st at 10:30 am in Glenville Park. There will be several egg hunts and games for the kids. Bring your blankets or lawn chairs. Rain date is April 8th at 10:30 am.

TJ’s Dawg House and M.T.A. Shaved Ice will have food trucks with some yummy food for purchase.
