We need your help! We’ll be selecting the Best Decorated House in our neighborhood, and your vote counts! Between now and December 15th, take a stroll or drive through the neighborhood to see the beautiful holiday lights. Then, come to the event and cast your vote for your two favorite houses!

Crime Watch
In the spirit of Thanksgiving, I give thanks to the 21 people who have patrolled our neighborhood since 2009 when we activated our North College Park Neighborhood Crime Watch Patrol. When you think about the hours and miles driven or walked, it boggles the mind!
I often give thanks to those who come down Rainbow Drive Alley and stop because my garage door is open and I am building something out of wood. We stop, visit, have a beer, a coke or at least chat a bit about who knows what! We often share memories about when our kids (mine are now 50 plus) roamed our neighborhood in safety playing games and visiting. I am thankful you all protected my kids, cared for us and now in our 70s and 80s still patrol to keep the current generations of kids safe to roam our neighborhood and build the friendships that will last for years to come.
Doug Freeman, Crime Watch Coordinator
Crime Patrol Meeting Thursday December 6th, 6-8pm Rocco’s Italian Cafe, come join us.
If you see something which does not look right, call 911 and talk to the dispatcher.
As always be vigilant about locking cars, hiding valuables, and closing your garage doors.

Citizen Police Academy 2025
Applications for the 2025 Richardson Citizen Police Academy (CPA) are now open. This program offers citizens an opportunity to learn about our Department in a fun, interactive and academic environment. Presentations by officers and specialized units give citizens a chance to meet personnel and learn from each division. Students will experience the training, participate in SWAT demonstrations, drive the patrol vehicles, get hands on with crime scene, ride out on patrol, and be involved in many more operational activities.
House Number Project
The house number project is alive and well. Volunteers will make a sign at no charge for your back fence to comply with city regulations. These numbers make it easier for emergency services to find your residence. Contact Doug Freeman, d1004free@aol.com if you need a sign.
