City Council/Homeowners Association Meeting | North College Park Neighborhood Association

Russell Bowen attended the City Council/Homeowners Association Meeting held on November 18th.

The following items were presented:

Main Street Study

The 2009 Comprehensive Plan defined 6 “Enhancement Areas” based on existing physical condition, existing opportunities and constraints, anticipated future real estate and market factors, and community desires. Part one of the study produced a vision for the area and part two identified four sub-districts in the heart of the study area. Those districts are as follows:

Main Street
Central Place
Interurban
Chinatown

The city council authorized the purchase of the Spring Creek Nature Area for 11 Million Dollars. This acquisition of nearly 60 acres of land will more than double the nature area.
