Time to Renew Your Membership + Flags

North College Park Neighborhood Association is supported by voluntary contributions from residents. The stated goal of the association are to promote safety, integrity, beauty, quality life, a sense of community and the value of our homes.

We do these things by coming together with activities like Spring celebration, Fourth of July Parade, Flag program and National Night Out. We also promote and encourage crime prevention through crime patrol and education.

Halloween Movie Under the Stars

Join us at Glenville Park Friday October 28 at 6:30pm for a spooky good time with a movie under the stars! The North College Park Neighborhood Association is providing an outdoor movie experience to kick off Halloween early. We will have a giant outdoor inflatable movie screen, a vintage popcorn machine, and some snacks for a family fun movie night! Feel free to bring anything extra you’d like to munch on. Bring your own chair or blanket and join us to watch…. Casper!

PS… We will have small prizes for kiddos (or adults) that come dressed up so feel free to break out the costumes a little early this year!

NCPNA Annual Meeting – September 27

Mark your calendars now to attend our NCPNA Annual Meeting, Tuesday, September 27 at Amigo’s Restaurant.

Our special guest speaker will be new Richardson City Manager Don Magner. Food will be provided beginning at 6:30 pm, followed by a brief meeting and our guest speaker. Spread the word!

National Night Out – October 4

NCPNA will participate in National Night Out. The event will be held the evening of October 4, 2022 in Glenville Park beginning at 6:00pm. The Berkner Drum Line will perform. We are also expecting Chase of Paw Patrol to visit with us. Food will be available for purchase with King Kong Tacos and Wings on site. Mark your calendar and plan to attend, expect a fun evening and meet your neighbors. More information.

Flag Patrol

To keep our costs down we have a volunteer flag patrol who help deploy and pick up the flags. We now have over 100 flags flying in North College Park! If you are willing to help with this activity, please contact Janice Gromadin at elway100@gmail.com.

The 4th of July Parade A big Success

The 4th of July Parade and Party was enjoyed by about 60 people as they ate delicious food from TJ’s Dawg House Food Truck and participated in games and fellowship. Thanks to our police department for the parade escort and to City Council member Joe Corcoran for stopping by! The water balloon toss was a big hit providing some relief on the hot day! Congratulations to the parade, costume and game winners!

The 4th of July Parade is Back!

Vehicles, golf carts, bikes, wagons, walkers and pets will gather at 10 am at 901 Rainbow and the parade will start at 10:30 am! See the parade route below. Awards will be given for the best decorated entries and adult, child and pet costumes celebrating the USA!

Spring Celebration and Egg Hunt
Saturday, April 16th 10:00AM – 1:00PM

The Spring Celebration and Egg Hunt is finally back and this year we’re teaming up with Town North Park and TJ’s Dawg House food truck for a fun day in Glenville Park. The egg hunt will have separate age groups with special prizes in each egg. Several games including a Hula Hoops, 3-legged race, egg toss and corn hole.

TJ’s Dawg House food truck will be on site for lots of good food for purchase. Plain dog, chips and a drink for the kids for $5. Cash preferred but can accept debit/credit cards.

Make it a family event, bring your lawn chairs and blankets.

Don’t forget to bring a basket to collect eggs!

And like in years past, the Easter bunny will make an appearance and there will be a photo-op area. Lots of fun for all ages!
